City of Ashland Installs New Charging Stations for EV Fleet

The City of Ashland recently partnered with Oregon-based nonprofit, Forth, to install 10 new charging stations for the city’s fleet of electric vehicles. The new charging infrastructure will support Ashland’s commitment to a low-carbon workplace by increasing EV charging capabilities for the city’s fleet and its employees. Transportation is the largest contributor of greenhouse gas emissions in Oregon. Efforts to implement policies that decrease carbon emissions and support zero-emission vehicle technology, such as projects like this, will help Oregon reach its climate change and GHG reduction goals.
