PGE Announces $2.3 Million in Drive Change Awards for Electric Transportation and Education
Portland General Electric and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s Clean Fuels Program teamed up to award $2.3 million in funding to support electric transportation and education in local organizations. The funding will support the 12 awardees’ goals for electric transportation adoption and promotion, including electric vehicle and bike purchases, EV charging infrastructure, education programs, and more.
The PGE Drive Change Fund is funded through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s Clean Fuels Program. The Clean Fuels Program aims to encourage the use of cleaner fuels by providing incentives and requirements to create demand for cleaner fuels in the marketplace.
